The Lierelodge is located in the middle of the beautiful De Liereman nature reserve in Oud-Turnhout, one of Flanders' oldest and most valuable reserves. Here you walk straight into a world of heathland, dunes, quiet woods, fens and marshes, where numerous special plants and birds occur. Its official recognition as a silence area ensures a rare, deep peace.
Directly from the Lierelodge you step into nature via a network of footpaths, varying from short loops to longer tours that take you deeper into the area. Cyclists and mountain bikers can also enjoy themselves: you can easily connect to the cycle junctions through the Kempen landscapes, follow quiet routes for recreational rides or opt for challenging tracks with singletracks and sand strips.
