Ideally situated on the Charente coast, our gîtes are close to Rochefort and at the heart of many tourist destinations: the Ile d'Oléron and Fort Boyard, the Ile de Ré and the Ile d'Aix, the Moëze and Brouage marshes for long bike rides or birdwatching on foot. At Port des Barques, 10 minutes from the gites, there is a seawater reservoir by the beach where you can swim whatever the time of tide, and at low tide you can go on foot, by bike or by car to Ile Madame, the world of fishing. We are half an hour from La Rochelle, Royan, Saintes, Saint Jean d'Angély and Surgères.
