A cottage (1 to 4 people) located in the center of Barbizon, close to the Museums and shops. The Garden of the Arts is located on the property of a painter. The buildings (18th and 19th century) and within it the magnificent Atelier, were restored by Pierre Barbe, fellow student of Le Corbusier.
The forest is a few minutes' walk away and one of the best climbing sites (Bas Cuvier) is a few minutes by car.
Quiet and sunny, the cottage benefits from modern comfort.
The cottage is duplex (located above a boutique-gallery), a south-facing terrace overlooking a flowered garden. On the ground floor an entrance with wardrobe, a modern bathroom with a large shower and toilet. A living room overlooking the garden, kitchen, dining area and lounge area with sofa and flat screen TV.
Upstairs is an attic bedroom with two single beds. A dressing room. Play area for children, small table and chairs, toys and books. We have taken care to choose high-end bedding.
A swing is available for children in the garden.
On request we provide you with a high chair and a cot.
Programmable central heating, with city gas, with hot water production. There are radiators (see several) in all rooms. The gîte is insulated from the ground to the roof (sheep wool) and the windows are double glazed.
Entry into the gîte only on Saturdays. Exit only on Saturdays. Reservations are taken 6 months in advance maximum.
