Upstairs you will find a snug mezzanine-style twin bedroom set within the timber ceiling plus a spacious master bedroom with en suite shower room and delightful private balcony from where eye-catching vistas of the Ionian Sea shimmering above the treeline can be enjoyed.
Nearby, the village of Tsoukalades (950m) has good everyday amenities with a more comprehensive choice found both on the way to and in the island capital Lefkada Town (7km). Tucked away down a country track, the local beach (2.3km) is a pretty little strip of sandy coastline lapped by pristine waters while the much larger Pefkoulia (3.5km) is considered amongst the best beaches on the island.
The mezzanine-style twin bedroom is not suitable for very young children.
