Clos du Peuch is set in the grounds of Chateau du Peuch and has been completely renovated with great care to preserve the original features. Clos du Peuch is a Perigord style house which offers luxury accommodation in the heart of the Dordogne.
Clos du Peuch has a private driveway with ample parking. From the front door, you arrive into a generous entrance hall leading to a lovely spacious sitting room with a a magnificent grand stone fireplace. Set back from the living area is a large open planned fully equipped kitchen/dinning room area which has direct access to the raised undercover terrace overlooking the stunning valley.
Each of the 5 bedrooms (3 x Twin 2 x Double) has its own en-suite. All beds can be transformed into double or single beds. Tastefully decorated and spacious. All rooms feature, air conditioning and wifi, Egyptian cotton sheets (which you will not want to leave), towels and hairdryers, Cotton bathrobes and complementary shampoo, conditioner etc. A change of towels will be done mid-week.
At the rear of Clos du Peuch is a terrace over looking a small woodland with a stream, which is inviting for those who enjoy walking. Also at the rear of the property is an area for a game pètanque or why not enjoy a game of tennis on the newly built court, which is located within the estate (rackets and balls provided) . Or if you are just wanting to relax why don't you have a glass of locally sourced wine and enjoy the terrace offering unspoilt views of the French countryside.
We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so upon arrival the house manager will be there to greet you with the keys for the house and to show you around. We also understand the last thing you will want to do upon arrival is a food shop, so we would like to provide you with a complementary hamper and also a complementary breakfast the next morning, the house manager will take your order upon arrival. So all you will need to do is just arrive and start enjoying your holiday.
If you would like some delicious fresh croissants and bread from our local Patisserie delivered in the morning, please speak to the house manager the day before and she will be happy to arrange.
