Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a lovely 3* hotel, in a beautiful area. The pool area was spotless and the view was amazing. There is a lift up to the first and second floors. Rooms are a little basic but had everything needed for a comfortable stay (we did take a travel kettle, as recommended in a previous review) They were cleaned every day and towels were also changed. A lovely selection of toiletries was also supplied. Staff are very friendly, helpful and always on hand to help at breakfast time. The breakfast was great with a good selection, including cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cereal, croissants and pastries. There was a good selection of teabags and a very posh coffee machine that makes a lovely cappuccino! Towels are available for the pool and the nearby beach, where there are also plenty of sun loungers. We didn't hire a car, but a taxi to Lefkas Town cost €12 and the hotel was happy to book this for us.

Negative: We stayed in this hotel at the very end of their season. We were the only people at the hotel for a day or so. Unfortunately the only 'snack' they could provide for lunch was toast. The bakery across the road was also closed but, luckily, there were a few tavernas open in the little marina, just a short walk away. We ate most days at Makis taverna where the food was delicious and we were treated like family. Buses are very irregular so, if staying for longer than a few days, I would recommend hiring a car.
