Summary: The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed.
A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines.
The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower.

Summary: This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Manoir de la Blonnerie and, as usual, it's. even an absolute pleasure. Everything about this place appeals, from the rustic charm of the rooms to the fabulous home cooked food... it's a gem of a chambers d'hotes and very reasonable too. Already looking forward to our next stay!

Summary: Another journey break. Easy to find but make sure you read the small print. Must phone in advance if arriving before 17.00 which is fair enough as it is a working farm. More importantly you must give 24 hr notice if you wish to eat in the evening. We failed to do so and had to drive into Chatellerault to eat. However some good restaurants available there. Breakfast, included in the price, was excellent and the room was very rustic and charmingly appointed. Great Queen size bed.

Tucked away in the beautiful French countryside, Manoir de la Blonnerie is full of character, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff couldn't be more welcoming, friendly and attentive.
We can't rate it highly enough!

Summary: Looks run down at first sight, and deserted when we arrived
But it's charming and a working farm
And the bedroom was tasteful, spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, and spotless
And the people are delightful, relaxed and friendly
Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast, with lots of their own products used.
