About Duingt:
It is located on the western side of the Annecy Lake and has definitely earned it’s nickname "Pearl of the Lake" .
Next to St Jorioz, Duingt (pronounced DOU-IN!) , offers an exceptional mountain and lake view. The cycle track from Annecy to Ugines (35kms) crosses the village and connects the villages along the lake very easily by bike.
The "best bakery of the lake" is located in Duingt, as well as a bookstore, a supermarket 6/7 and high-quality cuisine (Clos Marcel or Bec for example).
Duingt is a fabulous place for a relaxing holiday in both the summer and winter times.
